I think television is a drug designed to shape and encourage emotional responses to these issues. I think what Hansen and I are looking for is a drug that allows logic to control attitudes, rather than emotions.

Humans are naturally both logical and emotional, but as the number of people who hold genuine control over their surroundings dwindles thanks to concentration of power and wealth in the hands of the elites, the elites manage society by appealing to emotion over logic ( see: War on Terror ). Most propaganda works like this.

In a world where the ratio of humans with 'unnatural' brain chemistry grows every year, we may need to put natural human beings into zoos and breed them only among themselves, in case we need to remember what people were like before they were told they needed to fix their heads.
