Does anyone have MP3's of P.W. Long's "God Bless The Drunkard's Dog?" It came out as vinyl only and I already own it (I recommend it to anyone by the way) but don't have the hardware/software or whatever to rip it to MP3's. I spend a minimum of 2 hours a day in traffic and that is where I listen to music 95% of the time unfortunately, otherwise I would buy a lot more vinyl than I do nowadays. But I would love to be able to listen to this record when not at home with my turntable. Thanks.

Fire Escape In The Sky: The Godlike Genius of Scott Walker

Over the years I've collected practically everything he's recorded, but this best-of (compiled in the early '80s by Julian Cope) is still my favorite.

He disowned scott in his book. Traitor.

Cheers. For reference, what you're hearing on that comp is taken from his late '60s solo work. There's so much more to this guy, it's staggering.

Meh - it's all part of being batshit crazy. I still have Julian to thank for Scott Walker.

Some of you will appreciate this, but it mainly goes out to a guy who had a 3.5 hour commute this morning and is still in good spirits.

Good to have you back^...(but there's no pretty pictures).

And Sid...you truly are the Buddha. The Scott Walker upload is so sweet for so many reasons. I love stuff that is saccharine to the point that it's a little bit disturbing...but it's also just straight up great. Thanks!!

Hey you! Thank you. I have just sent an email to you.

No pretty pictures, because the LRD came to me wrapped in newspaper, no sleeve or cover of any kind.
Here is a pretty picture that you can use for a cover, if you would like, of a bomb that the peace loving anti-war man, Mr. Rollins signed prior to it being dropped god knows where.

For the Alberto y Lost Trios Paranoias, the tracks were taken off three different albums/singles. Just a homemade compilation. If you would like a homemade cover, here is one for you...

Tons I could write about Chris D. and his Flesheaters from both personal antidotes w/Chris and the importance of their place in the LA music scene of the late 70's to the mid 80's, but none of that matters. Just experience it yourself, if you have not already done so.

Wiki page.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Flesh_Eaters_(band)

Produced by Chris D. (Ruby/USA Records Records)
Guitar: Dave Alvin
Bass: John Doe
Voice, Maracas: Chris D
Sax, Rhythm Sticks: Steve Berlin,
Maracas, Snare, Marimbas: DJ Bonebrake
Drums: Bill Bateman

Claude Bessy (a.k.a. Kickboy Face) Craig Lee (Bags) and Robert Lopez (a.k.a. El Vez and founding member of the band Zeros) short lived band. They are the only band from The Decline of Western Civilization to have never put out an album. This collection is from some live shows that they played in LA from 1979-1980 (Oct/Nov)
so the sound quality is clearly lacking a bit.
I have no idea if another pressing is going to be done, but Artifix is out of them. Hopefully I have obied by the oop rules.

I hope you find some enjoyment with these.
