Over the past 12 hours I've been losing my shit over the late 60s/early 70's groovy pop stylings from Bella Bellow, a Togolese singer who unfortunately lost her life in an auto accident just as her career was blossoming. Very sad, but the music she left is tops. Great voice, stellar musicianship, positive vibes.
I used to work at a bar where every Sunday night was a dub/dancehall/jungle/hip-hop party called Deadly Dragon Sound System and "Feel Like Jumping" was a staple along with this banger

Vangelis - The Dragon. Wonderful stuff to zone out to.

Discovered this piece of music recently (Dave Fuglewicz's "Dancing Bear"):
Whatever genre this is, I'm into it.

Bella Bellow is scratching an itch - cool stuff!
Slight tangent, thread hijack (if I may) - in this thread maybe midway thru last year someone posted a Japanese folk singer - a woman doing simple vocals and guitar. Album was great - can’t for the life of me remember her and google no help. Also can’t recall if it was from 70s (think so) or modern and tinged by that time…
