I woke up crying today, after having a very emotional nightmare about my former nanny. I think it's the first time it happens to me, although I already woke myself up a few days ago shouting "I'm scared! I'm scared! I'm scared!" after another horrible nightmare.

Clearly something's wrong in my mind... :(

However I just read this :

“Thanks sexy! Call me after work if you’re not too tired!”

Oops.

Thats almost as bad as when I was in the pub my mate Joe and he accidentally texted a message, intended for his girlfriend Louise, to his mechanic...Louis.

The message being:

"I want to smell your sweet, sweet pussy!"

Hahahahaha!

... and laughed out loud. Thank you for that!

You should go check out this book about the Aral Sea and it's demise...one of the best books I read last year:

Today is my last day with May Department Stores/Federated Department Stores/Macy's

I have to go make "big-boy" money decisions today (for one of the first times ever in my life) with my severance check. I'm at least a little bit hungover, with just a hint of White Castle still on my breath, and would rather just crawl back in bed for a while and not have to deal with financial responsibility shit. But at least I am secure in the knowledge that none of this money will be harvested by local riverboat gambling.

The PC gathering crew is already roaming the floor. In a few minutes they will come to take this PC away. This will be the last time I post from this PC (boo-hoo... )

Monday morning I will finally *officially* start with Lord & Taylor. I will have to re-adjust from big stiff corporate workplace mode to a little more relaxed private company chill mode. There are bound to be positives and negatives to this transition, and I'm sure some aspects won't reveal themselves until later.

It is still hard to fully believe that so many of the people that I've worked with and for over the last six years will just not be here on Monday morning when I come back to work. I've been pretty lucky with 99.9% nice, fun, intelligent, kind co-workers all this time. That's been really, really nice. Salut, good co-workers and decent job! Not everyone is so lucky, and I know this, and yes I am grateful.

Also, this weekend I will be re-reading all Electrical Guitar related threads and thinking to myself "Fuck it... yeah, I should do it! Shit, I don't know... Yeah I should... Oh, maybe not yet... fuck!" etc.

I saw that, too. John Waters makes for a surprisingly appealing narrator. When those kids were jumping up and down shouting about not doing drugs, it really touched me.

Does anyone else ever get the sensation that there's a bee crawling on them, like on your head or neck or someplace you can't see, but are afraid to swat it because it might sting you? Or is that just me?

I was about to say "when I run out of Vicodins, yeah."

I'm hanging out with my nine-month old cousin, entertaining her by playing Shel Silverstein reading "Where the Sidewalk Ends" and giving her a big red cup to play with.

Watching Bryan Ferry on that "Concert for Diana" thing makes me realize that, next to Todd Trainer, he is the most stylish man in rock.
