Aren't wooden shoes a Dutch thing? I don't know.
Re the "Type R" sticker: The Japanese transliteration of "Type" (taipu) might, depending on the typeface used, look very much like "LIA" --
if it were upside-down. I think that makes the story more funny - the liar guy got a "Taipu" sticker, but he didn't know how to put it on right, and now it looks like "LIAR".
I heard about one yesterday - I don't know if it was a sticker or a plate frame, but it said "Canadian Rebel" and it had two Confederate flags on it. WTF? I thought it should have had fleurs de lis.
I might have posted any or all of these three before, if so, you have my deepest whatever:
A bumpersticker with a picture of one of those obnoxious yellow ribbon magnets, it says "I support the guy in China who's making these stupid stickers."
"Even Jesus hates Creed"
And my favorite for unintentionally funny: A big sticker of a Confederate flag taking up the left half of the windshield, and on the right half, in big letters: "DON'T MESS WITH THE U.S."
