Twin Peaks Is my fav.
As films go I would say I like Lost Highway the most. Then Blue Velvet, Mullholland Drive, Wild At Heart, Elephant Man and so on.
Anyone seen Hotel? man it is so funny in parts, made me laugh for days.
Rabbits on the over hand, was almost impossible to watch all episodes, just about coped.
I like a lot of the scores as well, especially in Twin Peaks, really directs the mood of his movies.

I really like
Dune which is weird cause I'm pretty lukewarm when it comes to both Lynch and science fiction films. The FX show a lot of innovation: "cheap" but artful in their own right.
Oh, and that flying obese dude who drinks boy-blood. And a Sting knife-fight!

sport, or people coming to their senses.

actually, i think Hendrix's best work has become more outstanding over time. mostly because he wasn't just a gimmicky guitar hero but also a very good singer and songwriter.

The "weirdness" of Mulholland Drive derives from the fact that it was a TV pilot that, when dropped as a pilot, had to force itself to various plot "resolutions." Brilliant art? No. Half-assed crap.
However The Straight Story and the first season of Twin Peaks are both excellent.
People, there are other ways to feel "edgy" and smart than watching the films of David Lynch.
Nine Inch Nails?!? That's Sam Raimi. Lynch is probably more like a Deerhoof.
Mulholland Drive isn't that weird of a film, nor is it half-assed.
Please do share with us what you do to feel "'edgy' and smart," dear friend, because that's the last thing I care about doing when I watch a film.

Well, I listen to Nine Inch Nails for starters!
I was making fun of such people. Maybe re-read my post before you get needlessly antagonistic.
Ok, Deerhoof is a better analogy (when Lynch is at his best). I think there are many genuine fans of his approach which, for me, is very hit-or-miss. But I also think he attracts a lot of people so very desperate to be "superspecialdifferent."

I think the chap means this:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0106029/
Barry Gifford and David Lynch wrote and directed two ("Tricks" and "Blackout") of the three that were made.
I don't think you can get them on DVD but I could be wrong. I'd like to see them.
