It's my solo shit if you're interested. There are two songs with vocals; I know my voice sucks balls no need to tell me.

I don't know how to/have a place to post just the mp3s. Sorry Russ.

Salut!

I believe all you need to do to put a direct link from the myspace page is to right-click the link that says download and click copy link address (or whatever it says) and paste it in here using the URL buttons.

Like this:
Fake a few smiles - http://mp3download.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=bandprofile.downloadSong&bsid=840135&song_name=FakeaFewSm&fid=11434396

Or if you are barely savy, you can use the URL tag to put the link in the tag and wrap it around the text to link it like this:
Double Zero, the song with the bitching guitar solo from a previous song that bled into this one right over the drum tracks... oops

Hope that helps.

Weird. Those direct links download files with a .mpe extention. If I rename it to have a .mp3 extention, they will play. This is on a mac, mind you.

That is weird, seems to be the case for all the myspace direct download links. Stupid MySpace.

Maybe it's because they are now owned by Rupert Murdoch, Mr. Fox News:

Russ,

Do these MySpace links have the same problem for you? I'm using Safari to post these and check them and they seem to work fine. Except that my link from yesterdays post went mysteriously dead.

And I give you a flash from the past (for me, anyway).

This was the artistic height of 1989. I was all of 15 years old.

Full Point: guitar
Half Point: vocals

(There was a one-eyed teacher's aide who bought us the vodka).

I'll admit to geeking hard and streaming the myspace/streaming stuff thru Audacity and exporting it as a mp3.

Dowloadable mp3s are much easier, however.

glad you liked it.

We've just broken up, but my band Nine Miles High would like to be part of this.

I feel this song is our best.
