I agree this is one good thing about the Packers. One good thing.

I have to call bullshit on this. You're thinking of baseball, where the Kansas City Royals will always be underdogs, so long as they exist. The Packers aren't any sort of underdog, any more than any other NFL franchise. They all have the same amount of money that they may spend on player salaries. As long as the people running the organization aren't retarded, they can make money.
In terms of media adoration, the Packers haven't been an underdog for about a dozen years, around the time Ron Wolf fleeced Jerry Glanville to land the golden boy.

I think this is the kind of thing people tell themselves to get through Wisconsin winters, when their team sucks, and they know they have just had two of the most heinous back-to-back drafts in NFL history.
Why not bring in a monkey to throw darts at a list of college seniors next time? He couldn't fuck up any worse.

i can’t believe i’m actually agreeing with kid on something. and actually, i agree with everything he says above.

salut!

the only thing that would be more comical for the packers current situation is if mike martz was their coach.

but i do love brett farve and i’m sad to see this happening at the end of his career.

That sucks.
Of course, us Packer fans were gloating, but Mr. Favre proved to be the bigger man, laughing and joking with Mckenzie like nothing had happened. I'm sure he would have acted the same way even if the Packers were losing.
Call me old fashioned or whatever, but Brett Favre is a rare, shining example to everybody, and I'll really miss him when he decides to pull the plug. >sniff< >sniff<

i agree with you redline. that’s why i was so bummed about what they did in the draft. and then even moreso when javon walker went down. it just seems if he had a few more offensive weapons or a defense that can stop teams other than the saints, he would play even longer. but until then, i salute you brett favre.
