I would love some sort of 'expression pedal' adaption for it. Sweeping the stability while playing is lotsa' fun.

Pricier still, but just what you're looking for:

The Zvex Fuzz Probe

Check out the video.

And yes, the Fuzz Factory, she is great fun.

I recently bought one of these.

The design is pretty dumb (read the Harmony Central reviews of it for further explanation), but it will perform an expression pedal function on your Fuzz Factory.

are they suitable for al pedals for example a boss dd3?
My pretty pony! Why, Zorak, why? You could have had any woman you wanted! But you chose the woman I love almost as much as I love myself! You ruined my life, you ruined her life, and now, I'm going to ruin your life!!!

Why yes. Yes they are.

As for the Fuzz Probe, all its wicked awesome features can be done with the Truly Beautiful Disaster. The feedback loop on it (TBD) can be controlled using the built in light dependent resistor. One can achieve all manner of "wicked" or "nasty" or "disgusting" sounds by putting a distortion pedal (any cheap pedal that mentions "metal" in it's name will work) and controlling the LDR with a strobe light, or any light for that matter. You can also use a handheld fan in conjunction with a laser pen to get a similar effect.

The TBD is a great concept, and in practice mostly incredible. However, the "theramin eye," as the pedal's designer calls it, is little more than a novelty in practice. It's too small, yet at the same time quite sensitive to changes in light. I don't know much about the inner workings of electronic gadgets, but I'm sure that the theramin eye could be replaced easily with an expression pedal. With an expression pedal, the TBD would be untouchable.

And yes, just about any distortion pedal (especially "metal" pedals) goes just batshit loony in the feedback loop. I've used a Rat and a Blue Box in the feedback loop, and achieved all manner of stuck beast sounds. Funny enough, the Fuzz Factory is pretty tame in the feedback loop.

I must agree with the Rodabodski, because deese are mine:

...and if I use all three together, which is just stupid, they are most definitely noisy and thick and the deluxe has a compressor built in so I can get that too.

I am only sorry that you are trying to buy one in today's vintage/boutique gouge out your arse overpriced market. I think I paid 35.00 US for the bigmuff, and the deluxe and the maestro I both got for free.

I've never compared my bigmuff with one of the new reissues, but a friend of mine had one of the sovtek ones, and it sounded fine. Maybe it was just a touch harsher, but really that could have been his guitar or amp or particular set up.

I'm sure if you spend time on ebay you'll get one for a decent price.

I highly recomend this thing... it sounds like a rhino snarling, I just wish I had the cash for one... there a bit much but worth every penny... totally sick fuzz/noise

Are these things being made/sold anymore? The brand website refers you to manufacturing website which refers you to a mailing list. Wtf.
Four of the Effector 13 pedals are going to be manufactured by a different company now - some sort of licensing thing.

The designer's new stuff is at www.deviever.com and includes a bunch of really cheap fuzz pedals (the DF is the fuzz from the TBD without the effects loop)
