Man, I remember "hacking" the vending machines at college, trying to ge tthe prize cans of OK.

Up until recently, the Tower Records near Lincoln Center sold Minidisc albums, but they were almost all Japanese issues of very mainstream stuff like Bruce Springsteen.

I'm embarassed to say that not two months ago I bid 8 dollars for an unopened can of OK on Ebay. I never liked the stuff, but thought I'd give it another shot.
Thankfully, I was outbid.

Don't be embarrassed. I was the one that outbid you.

Not really.

I do, however, have an unopened can of MASH Beer. I don't know how I got it. It just materialized in my kitchen one day.
I make music/I also make pretty pictures

Really?

Much to the chagrin of most of my friends, yes. As of July, Edmonton banned smoking in all bars, restaurants, clubs, etc. It's the same in Vancouver and Toronto (I think).

I was against the bylaw on principle. But the truth is, it's great! So great!

Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Victoria and all of Ontario if im correct.

-Legos (a goddamned dirty shame).

-Nerf guns.

-Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

-Candy Cigarettes (went out a long time ago, I guess. Probably a good thing.)

-vehicles made by Geo.

-long necklaces made from black string, usually supporting a number of different trinkets like ceramic painted mushrooms, yin yangs, etc. (look at the the Fugazi dvd when they're showing all the kids waiting in line, you'll remember).

-Baggy clothes.

-Round, purple-tinted sunglasses.

-Slap Bracelets.

-Bandanna "do-rags".

-Zip disks.

Reason #1 against "permanent" digital recording. Think of how the used gear market will be in 10 years. How long till "firewire" or "Mac G4" ends up on one of these threads next to Zip Disks and ADATs?
