I finally saw this; It was cute. It wasn't the apex of funny as some people have been proselytizing.

SNL has always been hit or miss. Watch an entire episode from any era, not just the highlights, and you will most likely have the same experience as watching a new one now. Some stuff is very funny, some is not.

SNL is usually 1/3 funny 90min is way too long
....if you're still watching after Weekend Update you're usually wasting your time.
