I walked into the kitchen last night humming the riff to 'One Evening' (you know the one). The wife said "You too?" She had it stuck in her head as well. It had played a during a car ride a couple days earlier.phpBB [media]This weeks often repeated songphpBB [media]

"Insect Lounge" by the Mutants.Over and over. It gets better every time. I love the lines, "The king of rock 'n' roll has died / Who cares? It serves him right." So great.phpBB [media]

That recapitulation and ending is fucking amazing. Great student performance too! Thanks for sharing this, man. You're quite welcome. Bonus: Mendelssohn wrote this double-fugue when he was 14 years old. phpBB [media]Imagine that, mastering the fugal form at 14 years old. The only thing I was mastering at that age was self-induced orgasm, and any songs I was writing were definitely Misfits-caliber. Extra bonus: Open the same link in two or three tabs about 8-12 seconds apart for a big tetratuple fugue!

I once had "Treat the New Guy Right'" on repeat for what I believe to be hundreds of repeats, just days of being at work, same song.Did the same thing with "Dogtag"."Kerosene", "Terminator X to the Edge of Panic", and "Surrender" rival those two songs.30 minutes, pfft. Rookies.

My friends do a version of long black veiland I went to the local country/western bar and saw them and asked if they would play it. I can't get the version I sang with them out of my head. I highly recommend Gillian Welsh's version. I like the J.Cash version I got.
