i honestly don't care for either of these bands.
i used to liek Sabbath when i was younger, but i could never hear them again and it would be quite alright. Zeppelin were great musically, but Robert Plant's vocals are about as moving to me as Jim Morrison's. (he seems like a much more agreeable chum though, but maybe that's just because Morrison was such an absolute douche.)
Either-Or: Black Sabbath or Led Zeppelin?
32Has anyone listened to Black Sabbath's Volume 4 recently?
I believe that there are more great riffs and songs on that record than all of the rest of both bands' catalogs combined.
Black Sabbath, just for giving the world Volume 4.

33I'm going with Sabbath because I voted for Zeplin in the other thread. Now I feel better.

Either-Or: Black Sabbath or Led Zeppelin?
35I have finally decided. I vote Black Sabbath because at least they didn't cover others songs they called their own for their first 3 LPs like Led Zeppelin did.
It was a hard choice but that was the deal breaker for me after much internal debate. I still love Led Zeppelin, but that love is tempered by my sense of fairness.

Changes completely negates this argument. Masters Of Reality is way better than Volume 4

39This is impossible.
I think I like both bands equally.
That is so rare I can't even tell you.

40I used to listen to both Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath in my early teens.
Now, if Zep comes on the radio, I rush to turn it off.
If Sabbath comes on, I rush to turn it up.
No contest. I don't even own any Zep records anymore.
