I'd say the second version of "Temptation" and their version of "Ceremony" are just better than "Age of Consent". But its a great, great song.

I like this album a lot, especially the original UK tracklisting without "Blue Monday". I like "Blue Monday" and all, but its sorta been "Teen Spirt"ed for me.

This album is by New Order. Therefore it is crap. New Order were crap and their music has dated terribly.

Movement. That album is great.

This EP, 1981-1982, was The Good New Order Record, I thought:

A lot of energy and tension but it's very spare. Synth washes are few and tasteful.

Age of Consent, Your Silent Face & Leave me Alone make Power, Corruption & Lies the best New Order record ever.

Definitely not crap.

But definitely not their best album... that goes to Brotherhood, with Technique following closely behind. Then again, all their albums are great, except Republic, which should have been trimmed to an EP.

I hate this sound more than you will ever comprehend.
The people that created this abhorent sound should be stabbed by Stabby Cat.
"Symphonic Stab" what a godamned misnomer.
"stabbing my eardrum" with 80's cheese.

Personally, I wouldn't go to try and stab Afrika Bambataa, but hey, it's your life, not mine.
