I am in no way reducing people to things that are mere commodities, yet one has to ask the question. Doesn't killing babies not yet born in such sheer numbers as has been done over the past 33 years beg the question as to how many more young people there might be right now not only as a tax base, but also productive and full of life....perhaps even with children of their own? Do the pro-abortion people ever consider that fact or do they consider, with a heartless sign, abortion to be a thing that ought to be rare, safe and LEGAL despite the cost?

No, you are avoiding the point. So you have no problem with the imperfections of the legal system, possible corruption within the police etc. that results in quantifiable numbers of clearly innocent human lives being murdered by the State?

I don't trust governments qua ideas that much, but I trust in ethical people in places of authority within a body of justly elected and appointed government to follow the rule of just law. It's all about trust.
