The rest of your post is bullshit.

Are you a vegetarian, matthew? Seriously. I want to know.

I fail to see how the rest of my post is bullshit. Killing is killing, whether it's killing bugs, or animals, and whether it's for survival or convenience. Thousands of living organisms die on us every day. Why do you think our skin peels?

You, too, will die one day. The only inevitable life occurrence that these fetii are deprived is that guarantee of taxes. They get death, but our government does not get to tax them. Is THAT why you are against abortion?

Or do you just thinking killing "people" is wrong? You're against the death penalty, too, huh?

For the record I am an omnivore. Seriously. I like all sorts of food from the vegetable and animal realms.

I am not opposed to the death penalty either. I've already been over that.

Death and taxes are alike. But how does killing babies pertain to taxes other than shrinking the tax base? I am in no way reducing people to things that are mere commodities, yet one has to ask the question. Doesn't killing babies not yet born in such sheer numbers as has been done over the past 33 years beg the question as to how many more young people there might be right now not only as a tax base, but also productive and full of life....perhaps even with children of their own? Do the pro-abortion people ever consider that fact or do they consider, with a heartless sign, abortion to be a thing that ought to be rare, safe and LEGAL despite the cost?

I made a tally. We, as a country, lost:
four (4) Jimi Hendrix's
seven and a half (7.5) Sadam Hussien's
three (3) Osama Bin Laden's
ninety five (95) George W Bush's
forty two (42) Troy Aikman's
and one (1) Pablo Picasso

Personally, I don't think you or I have any right to tell a bitch that she has to have that baby. Maybe it just doesn't feel right. Maybe she can't financially support it. Maybe she just simply doesn't wanna deal with it. In any event, it's none of my business, and it's certainly none of yours unless you're the bitch's father or husband.

Oh, we also lost thirteen (13) Jesus Christ's

As far as killing babies and taxes, I was just offering that in hopes of seeing your motives. It appears you feel cheated by these years of abortions. You could be hearing the musics of these kids that are no longer, but if you so forcefully uphold the death penalty, then you lose all of the writings of all of the Stanley Tookie's on death row.

It's 6 of one and a half-dozen of the other. Let them kill the babies, and just fucking kill those you're planning to kill instead of paying for them to live an extra 20 years.

It still seems to me that you're just selfish.

Is THIS a ruse? Surely you are being facetious here.

In effect you are turning people into commodities. With a Hendrix here and an Einstein there. Here a Bush, there a Bush, everywhere a Bush-Bush.

EVERY human life is of value. I don't measure human life by those criterion that you measure them by. To be a person is to be of value. Oh sure you'll say, "but Matty what about the death penalty? Surely THAT is degrading to human dignity!" Refer to above for that schpiel.

No, you are avoiding the point. So you have no problem with the imperfections of the legal system, possible corruption within the police etc. that results in quantifiable numbers of clearly innocent human lives being murdered by the State?

Matty, you must trust and love the Government more than the average Stalinist. Good for you!

Gramsci, like any just human institution a body of government is only as good as the people who constitute it.

I don't trust governments qua ideas that much, but I trust in ethical people in places of authority within a body of justly elected and appointed government to follow the rule of just law. It's all about trust.
