Just wanted to send out a quick note about the LP version of
Fake Fake.
We released the record on November 18th, and unfortunately, there were some mastering and manufacturing irregularities that caused us to have to "recall" any that were sold.
The original press is the incorrect weight, the labels are on the wrong side, and there is a lot of extraneous noise from the previous master that we were not comfortable with. Because of this, we had the record re-mastered by a company out of Wisconsin called
Y-Mixx, and a new press of 500 was made (with the original press being sent back to the plant). We received the new pressing back tonight, and the record sounds and looks the way it was intended.
