I will sell you my entire Dianogah record collection, along with a pint of Dianogah blood. Can you please define "top dollar."

Dianogah blood belongs in Dianogah veins (or perhaps flowing swiftly into people on operating tables via a kind donation) , and I will buy you something from Hot Dougs to keep it there. I find myself unable to define "top dollar", but I will spend the day strugling with it.

Did Dianogah play at the McHenry County VFW hall with Shellac, C-Clamp, Brits Out Of America, etc. back in 1997?

I thought that you had.

The bands rolled dice for show slots. The VFW hall had great sock hockey floors.

Was it hot that day?

Yes, we did play that show, but no one remembers the date. Any ideas? Seam also played, plus a band from McHenry County who described their sound as being somewhere between Shellac and Tar.

That VFW show was in Johnsburg, IL. No idea on the date but sometime in '97 sounds 'bout right.

Veteran Acre's Nature Center is in Crystal Lake. I saw U.S. Maple play there once.

Didn't you play an in-store show in Naperville in '95 or '96? I can't remember the name of the store though.

I totally forgot about that. It was Record Swap and we played with Sweater Weather and Tim Kinsella solo. Must have been n 96. Thanks for the tip.

Is it the sight of Jon Fine that is stuck in your memory? I can't remember much about that band, but I do remember Jon's brief stint with Don Cab. As I watched him flick picks into the audience I knew that he wasn't going to last.

So all we have to do is not sell you our blood and you are going to buy us Hot Dougs? This seems like a pretty good deal for us.
