hahah, to be fair to garble he didn't say it was on a four track (he just said cassette), so i'm just being anal...
I've got a Tascam 414MkII, and I started pissing about with it a couple of years ago. When i first started, I went on an on-line binge read, so i've read around... You see, if I'd actually done something substantial, like writing songs, I wouldn't have been able to give you such glorious posts.

(hehe) i had initially read that it was done on a 4 track reel to reel deck in his house. i guess not. pretty fucking amazing! it sounds really good. definitely my favorite springsteen album along with born to run. has anyone seen the dvd with the box set documenting the making of born to run? it is so cool. pretty amazing that he could spend so much time and money in the studio making an album and then turn around later and pop out Nebraska built largely off of four track demos.
