I have a big soft spot for the visual of SPINAL TAP PUPPET SHOW sign.
I also like the appearance of the Thamesmen on Jamboreepop (or whatever the show was called) doing "Gimme Some Money" - with Ed Begley Jr. on drums.

You took mine! What's almost as great is the look on Derek's face when the camera pans over to him.

33Also...
You see, most blokes will be playing at 10. You’re on 10, all the way up, all the way up...Where can you go from there? Nowhere. What we do, is if we need that extra push over the cliff...Eleven. One louder."
"Why don’t you just make 10 louder and make 10 be the top number, and make that a little louder?"
"These go to 11."

34During the music video for Listen to the Flower People... Derek Smalls mouths "We love you" into the camera. Also during Jazz Odyssey when he plays that crappy sounding chord on his bass.
And when they're talking about making a musical called Saucy Jack:
"Saucy Jack, you’re a naughty one/Saucy Jack, you’re a haughty one."

A few years ago there actually was a musical about Jack The Ripper, playing in London. I saw an ad for it in the paper and immediately thought of Saucy Jack.

36"Too much fucking perspective!"
Plus also the end. I love the interplay between David and Nigel when Nigel turns up to see the Tap play without him. The bloke-ish nodding, and the "what? me?" expressions on Nigel's face when David gestures for him to join in, and then the perfectly judged radio interference cutting in.

37I remember prolly 12 years ago, Paul Simon wrote a musical about Jack the
Ripper. Played on broadway. Didn't get to see it because there was some
stupid public backlash from up-state (or some other place outside NYC) and
it ran short. Sold out though, so I guess it wasn't all bad.
I really also like the drawings of Tap as different astrological signs. It would
be funny to see how many classic rock bands they took a swipe at, cause it
seems like they went out of the way one afternoon and ran down a list of top
40 rock bands...
...or do they really have that much love/hate? Lol.
"Does for rock and roll what 'The Sound of Music' did for hills."

I think that one gets me after all of the years of art school critiques that I had to put up with.
yep, that or lick my lovepump are the two unbeatable scenes ^_^
