All well-established forums have 'newbie crimes'; sometimes these things are spelt out in FAQs, other times these things are unspoken or unposted and have to be ferreted out by lurking and reading for a long period of time before posting. That's the internet, and indeed clubs, communities, and organisations worldwide.
