The whole problem with pointing a finger and screaming opportunist journalist scum is even scum wind up being right some of the time. Take Bush's attempts to get the legislative branch to give him the power to circumvent the judicial branch. Put simply, a president who would take the hammer and sickle to the constitution in order to protect me from a possible attack by terrorists who despise the freedoms said constitution provides is a far more real threat than said terrorists. Period. You can insult my level of education but, try giving me an explanation that excuses such wanton disregard for the powers provided in the constitution.
