Yeah. I bet we could start a whole other thread devoted to shitty bands who named themselves after great songs/albums.

yeah, probably shouldn't though. right?

Probably not. It wouldn't be as long as this one anyway.

yeah i mean, there's enough threads already. why you wanna go startin' more already? no-one cares, everyone just wants to get drunk. the world is terminally insane like that. it's horrible. really and truly. now i'm all sad.

Not me

Least of all, Winnie the Pooh"

I still have my Winnie The Pooh from when I was a kid. I can't fault those guys for namechecking him.

I (I should say "we") have Winnie the Pooh bookends, toothbrush holder, shower curtain, and lord know what else, but I still hate this song.

I'll add:
"Motorcycle Mama" from Comes a Time
Every cover from every CCR album except "The Night Time is the Right Time" and the extended jam but not the actual song part of "I Hoid it Through the Grapevine"

"Touch Too Much" off of Highway to Hell
"Ooby Dooby" off of Cosmo's Factory

wtf?

I'll submit the following:

"New Mama" on Tonight's the Night
"Through My Sails" on Zuma
"Gimme Three Steps" on Pronounced . . .
"T.V. Party" on Damaged
"Ventilator Blues" on Exile on Main St.

"Birthday Pony" off Red Medicine.

I'm sure none of you agree, but god, I hate that song.

Any song from Terror Twilight.

I guess that would make it a shitty record. Yeah, that was a shitty record.

Brett Eugene Ralph wrote:"Through My Sails" on Zuma

I never understood the presence of this song. Fuck, Neil! You got "Cortez" right there! That's your ending! Put "Through My Sails" anywhere else on Zuma and I'd say "ok, this CSNY pap ain't great but I spose it's kind of purty."

"Ventilator Blues" on Exile on Main St.

Really? I think Jagger gives one of his better vocal performances in this song. Just as good a song as anything on Exile on Main St. Nice and stompy.

Is stompy a word? Oh well. Nice and stompy.
