I don't see what's so hard about not ever missing work when you work only six months a year, especially if your job is 90% standing.

Probably closer to 70% standing, 15% running and 15% throwing.
Also, if you count Spring Training, then it's 7 months.
You can also add that most players train throughout the offseason.
