The only Metallica albums worth their salt are Kill 'em All, Ride the Lightening and Master of Puppets. I'd be willing to hear an argument of why ...And Justice For All should be on that list, but seriously... Metallica - Cliff Burton = CRAP.

"Dyers Eve"
Ok, and "Harvester of Sorrow." But really, "Dyers Eve." That song is brutal and stands up to the best songs off any of the albums that preceded it.

My main issue with that album is that the production makes them seem neutered compared to their previous albums. And James Hatfield started changing his voice. I'm still on the fence about it.

38I listened to Red Medicine by Fugazi recently and was blown away by how good it still sounds to my ears. Shit like "Back to Base" still kills me -- I still get chills when I hear it and I first heard it eleven years ago.
I also recently heard the new reissue of Sebadoh III and found that some of the material had actually stood the test of time.

39Smash by The Offspring still makes me want to skate, eat junk food, play video games, and stay up past my bedtime.
Mediocre Generica only came out 5 years ago... but when I take into fact that puts me at 14, I'm still very impressed that I enjoy this album as much as I first did.
Haha, The Red Hot Chili Peppers have not withstood the test of time.

40both 'too dark park' & 'last rights' from skinny puppy hold up. someone upthread mentioned 'sticky fingers' -- i'll raise that with 'goat's head soup' & 'exile on main street.' also the first four sabbath albums and the first five halen albums (with minor track or two exceptions).
