I use a Eden WT550 Bass Amplifier through an Ampeg SVT-610HLF and my bass is a G & L L-2000.
The distortion I use is a Boss Blues Driver.
I previously had a Sunn 1200S Amplifier but now it's being repaired.

33i've got an old gibson ripper going into a mesa boogie buster head that plugs into an ampeg cab with 2 8" speakers, 1 15" pointing down, and a horn. then i go out the mesa's direct out and plug that into the active input of a hartke 2155 (i think) which plugs into a hartke 4x10 cab. the mesa gives some decent low end, but also gets pretty dirty. then the hartke overdistorts a little bit and puts in some pretty cool high end. and then of course there's the mandatory rat pedal.

Ditched the SVT & 8x10 - too damn big.

38Various basses. Fender, Ric, Dano, etc. Either an old Ampeg B-15, or a Trace Elliot Quatro. The quatro usually runs into a Peavey cab with an 18" and two 10" s. There's an old Acoustic 301 can in the closet that I love, but very few places that it works well in.

3980 watt Crate bass amp. Don't remember the exact model, BX-80(?), anyway, got the job done but was kind of a POS. Had a 5-band graphic EQ that I really liked, though. Never really got used to the three-band Low, Mid, Treble knob things. An acquaintance of mine who plays in a more-or-less real band strongly recommended me to replace it, warning against the dangers of "affordable" amps (he had a Twin Reverb that probably set him back over 800 US), but my "Career in Rock" was long over by that point.
While playing as a hired-gun bassist, I used some guy's big, old, 1970's Peavey stack. It sounded surprisingly good. I usually set the three tone knobs on 10. It had a distortion knob, which I set on 10 too, but it didn't distort that much. W. my Charvel bass and a steel pick, it sort of had a Shellac-type tone with more low end. Anyway, it was a pretty basic solid-state amp. I took it apart once and was surprised by how little stuff there was in the head. Anyway, it wasn't MY amp, so fuck it.
I started with a dark blue metallic pointy sharp headstock Charvel Jackson bass. It actually sounded pretty good and Jesus Lizardy. Still have it... in my parents' garage about 3,500 miles away.
Now I'm down to a Schaller Jazz Bass copy and NO amp. At home unplugged fuckin' around. I probably won't buy another amp, either, unless I by some miracle find some like-minded players out here in the heart of Baziland. Otherwise, it just doesn't pay off even to have an amp.

By the way, the guy who had the Peavey amp I was talking about above had some pretty sweet basses as well.
He had an old Gibson Ripper, too, which he unfortunately managed to make sound like shit by stringing it with GHS Bright Flats. I begged him to set it up with roundwounds, so I could use it as a spare emergency bass, but he never copped to it. The flats gave it a muddy, slightly overloaded craptone which I couldn't tolerate. I regret having never heard the "true" sound of that bass.
He also had a nice, sturdy '70's P-Bass with ash body and translucent finish, which I liked a lot, too, but he similarly fucked it up by stringing it with goddamn halfwounds so that it sounded like shit, too.
Damn shame.
