I can't believe anybody voted crap on this. Like, at all. You couldn't get closer to an obvious vote unless somebody did "Substance: Water" or "Process: Living".

not crap - with a heavy waffle factor:

they've gone downhill with each record, not that there aren't brilliant songs (i.e. suicide invoice) on the later records, but there is a noticeable decline.

plus, and this is the kicker, after listening to say, automatic midnight, put on the wipers "youth of america"...

voila - instant hot snakes! it's uncanny. i didn't believe it either until my friend did the switcheroo on me and i said "which hot snakes record is this?, oh shit...."

still, not crap. extra credit for knowing when to pack it in.

As far as their "steady decline" goes, I have to disagree. "Audit In Progress" is easily only their third best record, but "Suicide Invoice" is my favorite by far.

the live show of thier i saw easily rivals the ex and fugazi.

Oh, I can't wait for the live dvd to come out! It'll show yours truly having the best time after flying 2000 miles to L.A. and drinking all afternoon. I'll be front and center, you'll know it's me because of my fist making the vocal monitor cry uncle!
