KoRn was the first band I really cared about as a boy. I owned their first four cds at one point. Their first album has a track where the lead singer had a nervous breakdown at the end of the vocal take, and cries for five minutes, and I think it is pretty cool that they decided to leave that in (whether the story is true or not) since a lot of people in KoRn's audience would probably consider this a "fag" move. I don't listen to KoRn anymore, because I am not 8 years old, but I thought that would be worth putting out there.

I loved the hell out of the first record of theirs as well. Two years later, I realized the error of my ways and got rid of that shit. On the way to sell it, I just kept thinking "how did I ever like this crap?" Then I cranked up the Nine Inch Nails I had playing.

Radiohead for you too, eh? Luckily Fugazi came right after Radiohead and put me on the right path.

Yes.
Me too.
Hate.

The hatred is unparalleled, it seems, for Korn. Are they, however, any worse than say, deftones, which as of now has achieved a 56% crap vote? I'm not defending Korn in any way, as my crap vote will validate, but one single vote for not crap?

If Criss Angel was a band he would be Korn.

I admit they have a few singles that are nifty (maybe a cool card trick here adn there)... amongst a wall of turd music, creating a turd genre, worshipped by turd fans.
