All I know is, it's been SEVEN FUCKING YEARS. Well, three if you count the '04 Peel Session where they teased everyone with three of the best songs that band has ever written.
It's funny. Yes, it has been that long, but those seven years have gone by so quickly. Occasionally I pull out 1000hz and listen, and enjoy, but have yet to become bored of it. They have yet to mis-step in their discography. I can say the same about many artists I enjoy. I am very suspicious of an any band that requires constant attention. History has already proven that any band that has a promising future only ends up with a distasteful past.
I agree.
But still...seven fucking years.
Takes Propagandhi four years to shit out a record, but when they do the record is incredible.
Took eight years for Uzeda to from Different Section Wires to Stella.
Takes NOFX what seems like a day and a half to make a record and they're never good.
Patience...patience.............patience.

This would be a beautiful gatefold LP, if all the white space to the right were the back cover and inside.

So it IS the same day as the anniversary of Rome's Liberation. I'm sure that was accidental, but I still like it. Very classy.

Those italian greyhounds are smaller than you think.
The songs that they have been playing for years are finally being released so I'm going to go ahead and say that this will be the final album from Shellac.
