He's hit or miss, and his fans can be spectacularly fucking dorky, but I find myself unable to hold a grudge against Weird Al. C'mon, he's Weird Al.

I think it's easy sometimes to forgot about Weird Al for a while, or take him for granted... until you hear someone else trying to do his schtick and failing miserably. Like one of those shitty morning radio shows trying to do a parody song and it sucks the ass. THAT'S when you remember to yourself "Hey, Weird Al would wipe the floor with these dudes!"

I (used to? who knows) have a tape of Peter and the Wolf played by Wendy Carlos and narrated by "Weird" Al Yankovic. Something about his voice makes the story much more compelling than I ever remembered it being as a child. For livening up this Prokofiev classic, I vote a not crap.
