Surfrider didn't write that; he's the one coming down from "the North" and asking about things to do.

The Cadbury World experience is pretty good, thankfully it hasn't attempted to capitalise on the Willy Wonka thing. It's hard not to be impressed by clanking, gigantic machinery built solely to produce Creem Eggs, Curly Wurlys &c. Be sure to ask the guide about the recent cholera scare or whatever it was.

or you could go to the Back to Back museum in city centre, a How we Used to Live in Slums through the ages style attraction.

Pre book for both.

I've just had some horrible times in Birmingham, lots of race related violence that I've experienced. I know it's not all bad anyway and there are worse places to go perhaps.

Thank you falsedog for noticing i didn't write that. I tend not to say such things, and actually when i read the post mis-quoting me i felt somewhat sick! Anyway, yeah. I'm just trying to figure out if there's anything swell i can do to make my weekend even better. Maybe i will do the Cadbury thing. Anything else? Anything else at all? I have only ever been to Birmingham once and that was when i was 12.

EA meet ups will be second on my list of priorites, the top prioriy going to being mesmerized at the very front of OM.

Nice attitude. Sorry I've had bad experiences there and make throw-away generalisations about the place on a messageboard, I'm an awful person. Feel sick, look down on me whatever.
