I vote ribeye, but it's a close call. I, too, am now interested in this "hanger steak."

Personally..I'm gettin' a little pissed off...I can't find hanger steak where I live. Yet another reason to leave this place again....

Go to a butcher or meat market (not a supermarket) and ask the cutter to save you the next one. If you only have access to a big supermarket, then speak to the meat counter man there, and ask him to get you one from their cutter. You'll only have to ask someone, and then you will have a hanger steak.
Once you have it, sear it and finish it under the broiler, but don't go past medium rare. It's a super-flavorful cut and wants to be treated gently.

What about the rigatoni with apples, garlic and gorgonzola?
(as I wrote that, I realized it probably is pretty straight forward and I am most likely a dumb-ass for asking how to make it.)

There are no stupid questions, Nina. Only stupid cows.
Stupid, delicious cows...

Once again,
burun appalls me with the things she puts in her mouth.
I have to go drive 16-penny nails through my left testicle now, excuse me.

I'm more worried about her putting it in her mouth. Isn't there an educational Planned Parenthood brochure we can send her before it's too late?

And frequently you appall me with what comes out of your mouth, so I guess we're even.

The hanger steak at Mon Ami Gabi in Las Vegas is very good and very inexpensive by Vegas standards.
There is a Mon Ami in Lincoln Park, but I can't vouch for it as I've only eaten at the one in Vegas.
