Yes. This is a fact. All vegetables become poisonous after ample cooking.

off topic, but some of that video was shot at 'Down to Earth', an incredible restaurant if you're ever near Red Bank, NJ..

i know people who raise their kids vegan and they turn out just fine (obviously, they drink the boobie milk during infancy). of course, they'll get to make their own decisions eventually, but a lot of them probably won't aquire the taste of meat and will remain vegetarian. big deal. raising them religious would be far more damaging.

sure it does.

Here's the premise. An 8 year old kid, who's raised vegan all his/her life, eats one cupcake at a school party. The kid is still vegan, if everything they eat afterwards, at home, or anywhere else, contains no animal products.

These parents are too wrapped up in the vegan identity to let their kids make their own choices. It's one thing to keep shit out of their diets, like soda, or chips, but it's another to be on watch 24-7 making sure your kid doesn't eat a ring ding.

OH PLEASE. PLEASE back this up.

You the woman here. Aren't you required by law to "back it up."

Ah just joking. I refer you to Stevenson VS. Del Monty back in the early 30's. It's not wildly publicized because Del Monty threw lots of money around to cover it up. Ask bob for further info there.

Anyway, in this landmark case, it was proven that overcooking and subsequently eating canned tomatoes led to hemorrhaging in the upper intestine. Thats why the warning now is right on the can. Go Check. After the great canned tomato scare of 1930 well our economy went into ruin and it took america some time to get back on it's feet. Hmm, what do they teach in schools these days. My god, the system is worse than I imagined.

Overcooked veggies taste like a puddle of paste. I've eaten waaaay overcooked veggies before, and to the best of my knowledge, I wasn't poisoned. Maybe some things might get funky, but I doubt "poisonous" is the right word.

This in no way addresses the issue.
The cat with the toast, once it's free in the air, will float at its cat-toast equilibrium point, where butter repulsion forces and cat forces are in balance.

sure it does.
You could make him eat a bran muffin while all the other kids are having cupcakes. That shouldn't cause him any embarassment at all.
