Yeah. Space elevators. Large satelite, and then build a large cord to attach to the satelite. Only problem being the gradual decay of the satelite's orbit. The 'cord' would actually have to support the minimal weight of the satelite in orbit, unless the cord teathers a satelite in a reverse decay.
