Rick Reuschel wrote:There's a clip floating around somewhere (I don't think it was on the show) of him singing the national anthem of his native country at a minor league baseball game in the south. He says something along the lines of President Bush should drink the blood of all Iraqis and had to be quickly escorted from the premise. The fact that he repeatedly puts himself in harms way illustrates part of the greatness. The cringe factor of discussing anal sex with a group of Republicans in Arizona is worth the price of admission.

It's in the first season, it's fucking hilarious.

I will happily sell you my copy, on DVD, cheap. In fact I may settle for just having the shipping reimbursed.

Da Ali G Show, she is funny. Ali G Indahouse, she is SO BAD. Mother of the fuck.

Yes, this movie she is the so bad...I almost to cry when I saw it.

That rodeo episode when he sings the national anthem and all that isn't on either of the DVDs. If someone can find this footage, that would be something to see.

The bits he did here in Tucson are great- especially Borat demanding "10 minute silence" for the victims of Kishniek massacre.

I just can't believe it took so long for Kazakhs to get pissed off about Borat.

Whenever Sacha Baron-Cohen comes to New York to film stuff for Da Ali G Show, crowds follow him and yell "Booyahasha" at him and such.

Perhaps, they should grab Mr. Baron-Cohen by his horns and throw him 'down the well'. And then have a big party!

The cool thing about this footage are the serious cowboy-looking types that are definitely not singing along. They know it's fucked. There's only a couple, but they make the clip.

I know a rodeo cowboy and he is definitely not crap.

Not Crap indeed.

Not only is Sasha Cohen extremely funny...but educated as well. I believed he has studied at Oxford University in politcal science or history or some shit.

Yanks probably won't have seen it, but I think Ali G's finest moments were on the 11 O'Clock Show. Great interviews. Really great.

I disagree. I haven't seen that much of Ali G, but from what I have had the pleasure of catching, the show very cleverly reveals racism and homophobia; it is not exploitative.

I agree, the ridiculous materialism and misogyny of some black hip-hop culture is just as deserving of satire as anyone else.
