40I am the owner, and I've used Pro Tools for seven years. Thank God I found out about Steinberg's Nuendo! With Pro Tools, you have to use Neve and/or SSL -which they will expect you to help pay the loan- to warm Pro Tools up before you can even get into sounding half way good. Then you have to fight to get more out of Pro Tool's still digital, flat sound and limited headroom. Have you tried to get that big sound and just couldn't do it? I've been there with Pro Tools. If you use a motu converter or something similar, you are really compromising the sound of your guitar.- Then they expect you to help pay for their $35,000 HD controller that they took a big loan out when you walk in their studio and shell out the bucks!
He is SO misguided, SO SO SO Misguided.
