They're always making fun of Al Gore for being pedantic and self-important. I thought it was hilarious that they had him wearing his Nobel Prize medal and running around like a little kid pretending to be flying like Superman.

I also got a kick out of the treatment they gave Gore on Futurama:

It had popeye being raped by cute little woodland creatures and and you felt the problem was that the nuke went off when it landed?

What if it had been armed prior to be sucked through the space warp? If that were clearly indicated in the episode, would you feel better about it?

Futurama makes fun of Gore well. Southpark just makes fun of him and it only makes them look foolish. They make fun of everyone else so well, but they fudge Gore. They also didn't really do a good Matt Damen in Team America. It's just blatant childish humor. But they usually don't do that.

I mean, their best rips were on Bono (literally the biggest piece of crap on the planet) and Mel Gibson (who literally wiped his shit on things). The Imaginationland Gibson was hilarious too. "AAAH MY NIPPLES" and "Say what you want about Mel Gibson, at least he understands story structure!" Those were awesome.

I was a big fan of Kyle saying, "Oh, god ..."

"God's here too, he's going to talk to you right after Captain Crunch."

I didn't like the imaginationland episodes very much. I wanted to say "thats not a joke, thats just a nostalgic reference!" The only elite episode so far this season has been the Bono one, obviously done to coincide with his Nobel Prize award that he didn't get. Its surprising they hadn't gotten to Bono already. They haven't been effective in ripping on Al Gore because their angle is that global warming is as imaginary as 'ManBearPig'. It's hard to get by that if you don't agree. They would do better by protraying him as a jet-setting hypocrite in addition to all that self-important stuff...

I do have to add that the ManBearPig slaughterfest was awesome.
