They are indie pop, but not boring. There's alot of sneaky shit going on under the hood. That's what endears me to them.

I will say I could probably fit their best songs on a double CD. The rest is , well, meh.

I second this. Overall, even though some lagging numbers are on the album, it's very good.

The first song with the "WHAwAwAwAwAwAwAwAwA" effect in the mathy breaks is really good. I can't remember the name.

I like the way Polvo composed songs- weird orchestrated patterns, deconstruction, starts and stops. Although different genres, I see similarities in early Melvins and maybe even Uzeda- although Polvo is certainly playing it safe(r).

Well, hopefully this means they'll reissue that self titled EP with all the early stuff. I'm glad I got that when it came out. Very nice, but like each Polvo release, different than anything else. Hell, why not add all the singles B-sides and rarities onto that as well?

And maybe they can make peace with J3h0v/-\h and re-release TAL with the original cover. (OK, wishful thinking)
"Pro Tools is too California Hollywood bullshit.”

Amazing song.
Awful song.
Amazing.
Awful.

etc.. etc..

Besides their later stuff (Exploding Drawing and Shapes, although I was joking about Shapes before, I think most of the stuff on it is good), what material is so inconsistent? I like every song on "Celebrate the New Dark Age", "Todays Active Lifestyles", "This Eclipse", etc

Also, as a treat, before Oink went under, I grabbed a B-side collection on there someone had put up of all the Polvo B-sides. Would anyone be interested for this on sendspace?
