But I do have permission from the woman in charge. That's a great thing and barely enough for me to handle. So if someone else wants to borrow the sword and the master mason ring, pm me. I think it'll get you into the skybox with Alexander Hamilton and J. Edgar Hoover.

And get on clocker bob's list? No fucking thanks. I'm pretty sure just by entering the building I'm going to get my own specially colored thumbtack on his map.

Christ, this show's going to rule. I'm going to hide some weed from myself when I get home so I can be absolutely sure I don't run dry. This will be a night for heavy self-medication.

I know it's an early show, but do you guys want to get together for a bite beforehand? Some pretty good, cheap eats on Myrtle Ave.

I would love to meet y'all. I may be going with a buddy. Plus is, he lives around the corner from the venue, so I may crash with him. Minus is he is pretty flaky sometimes.

Regardless, I have the afternoon blocked off, I will be arriving Penn Station mid-afternoon. Could easily hop on the C train and be in Bklyn by, say, 4pm-ish. If you don't mind hanging with mid-40s ex punk rock suburban dad lawyer guy.

PM me with/for phone numbers.

It's true I am envious.

Would I make it in time on Friday if I could be into La Guardia by 5:30 pm?

You just might make the 7PM door time, if traffic was not insane.

You would definitely not miss the show.

Even in insane, NYC rushour traffic on a Friday afternoon, you should be able to traverse the 9.6 miles between Laguardia and Fort Greene in an hour and a half. Best bet might be to grab a cab to the G train, which goes from Queens to right where you need to be. Assuming, of course, your plane is not delayed.

By the time you got a G train, your cab would've reached Fort Greene no matter the traffic. You'd only save money, not time.
