Disturbing Video: Chemically-Enhanced Bush Dreaming Of WWIII

George W. Bush is not stupid. That's a myth among liberals who understandably detest him.

He's illiterate. But he's not stupid. He has what HR departments call "people skills," and he has them out the ass. I guarantee you he can remember names, faces, conversations, birthdays, and tons of other shit that the rest of us don't pay too much attention to simply because we don't know five hundred thousand people on a first-name basis.

He has to essentially play a role twenty four hours a day. Every response is calculated to meet the demands of this role. To accomplish that takes more than a modicum of intelligence. I mean, I'm not saying he's an evil genius like Napoleon or some other statesman. But the man wouldn't be where he is today if he didn't understand a whole lot more about life and about people than most of the rest of us do. I've heard from a number of reputable sources that the dumb show is basically an act intended to appeal to average, working class guys who admire his lack of pretension.

You don't get to be such a successful politician without understanding very well how the ins and the outs of the system works, and how to manipulate people like you were fucking fixing a carburetor. Now, I don't think he's had to apply his skills nearly so much after having been elected president, because, now that he's at the top, he doesn't have to spend all of his time figuring out how to get there. I do see signs of incoherence and basic troglyditism setting in, and no doubt it will only get worse after he retires and has nothing else to do all day.

He's illiterate and doesn't understand the larger political issues, it's true. But he has his own special sort of genius. It manifests itself in horrifying ways, but it's there, I think.

And he's obviously drunk in that interview.
