Nah, well a bit maybe, they were like early Butthole surfers, lots of yelling and pitchshifting on everything.. They used to get lots of good supports at TJ's, I don't remember any other good "local" bands around then, plenty in bristol probably but that always seemed a long way to go from hereford.

Cheers for the suggestions. Im in the same band as Edd and have gone through a few, I really like the John Hannon recordings I've found so far, seems like the best bet. Also Dropout looks good too.

Toerag would be great but aren't they charging a shit load these days!?
I was under the impression that since elephant it would be cheaper to fly to Chicago and record at Electrical for a few days.

With the tape thing, its not only the sound but being able to take the tapes home after thats important to us, i already have a hard drive full of files from a mackie system lying around that'll never see the light of day.
