A little critique of the mayor's extension plan. Nothing earth shattering here. It only reinforces that those that know how to play the game are going to be the ones who benefit.

Basically, the city needs to collect the same amount of taxes no matter how many breaks they give to the people who contest. Therefore, anyone who doesn't fight their taxes should expect another increase next year to make up the difference.

As a side note, for some unknown reason, and without even making a peep, my taxes went down 12% this year. I have no idea why.
Eat me.
