Oh my god you are so fucking retarded how do you even dress yourself?

Your fear of the heavy rock aside, Megadeth and Maiden are the farthest things from Sabbath. Especially in Maiden's case they were consciously trying to not sound anything like Sabbath. Megadeth, which came out of Metallica, were worshipers of the scene that Maiden came from, which was the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal or NWOBHM. This scene was centered around The Soundhouse, a roving metal DJ night in London in the late '70's and early '80's

Iron Maiden, Venom, Saxon, Motorhead, Angel Witch, Def Leppard, Diamondhead, Judas Priest and in the US Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, and Anthrax were purveyors of this new sound which gave birth to thrash metal, progressive metal and speed metal. Consciously not bluesy and consciously not pop, none of these bands sound anything like Black Sabbath who's roots are planted firmly in the blues. Also Sabbath fucking rocks.

At least get your facts straight if you want to be a retard.

Also grow some balls, turn off the lights and listen to all of "Paranoid" front to back until you realize the error of your ways.

Retard.

Yeah, most of these bands, Maiden in particular, seemed to take their cues from Deep Purple and Judas Priest (and maybe Wishbone Ash--for the dual leads) much more than Sabbath, who--correct me if I'm wrong--seem to have made it much bigger, initially, on this side of the pond and exerted more influence stateside.

In a rocket headings towards the sun.

It is amazing that I want to punch someone who never did any harm to me (I read his posts, so I have only myself to blame for that), and as far as I know is not a nazi. Salut, Nerbly. And go fuck yourself.

Having been forced to play this song a whole lot as a hired gun bassist in a conventional hard rock band, I have to say that I don't like it very much. The song's razorblade transitions seem very forced and unnatural to me, as if the band just threw a bunch of unrelated riffs together without working out good segueways.

Yes that is exactly what they did. It's one reason why the song has two titles - "Jack The Stripper/Fairies Wear Boots".

See also Who, The - "A Quick One While He's Away", Beatles, The - "A Day In The Life" and Sleep - "Evil Gypsy/Solomon's Theme".

Ever notice how Blondie jacked the FWB riff on "Call Me?"

It's closer to "Children of the Grave," actually, and I think Giorgio Moroder wrote that song.

I'm beginning to think Nerbly Bear wouldn't know what hole to wipe after taking a shit.

I believe it was Nerbly bear who was referred to as being able to

'make a blowjob sound like maths homework'.

I can't remember who to give credit to for that one.
