It's a bacon sandwich with sausage patties instead of bread.
I have never eaten one, but I did come up with the idea.
I know of a few people daring enough to try this and they've all had to sit down and take a breather after eating one of these.

If you want to weave a bacon-bowl, you could use a small ceramic bowl as a form, create the weave inside the bowl, then just put it into a microwave on a medium-high setting for a couple minutes until it's crispy. Bacon actually cooks really well in the microwave.

You'll want to use some pot holders to remove it from the microwave, then you can just pick the bacon-bowl out of the ceramic bowl and pat it gently with some paper towels.

I came to this thread looking for exactly this. This particular variety of bacon that you are looking at is Jim Oliver's Hickory Smoked Bacon out of Monteagle, Tennessee. Its a nice thick cut and its dry cured. Mmmm-mm.

Also, if you follow that link, you will arrive at the company The Grateful Palate where the greatest gift we've ever received comes from: The Bacon of the Month Club. And apparently if AlBStern buys it for you as a wedding gift, he also cooks it up for you in interesting ways as shown. Thanks again, AlB!
