Listen to the version on 'Gong' then try telling me it's not up there with the best stuff they ever did.
I don't have
Gong.
Look, I can't account for taste. I just know that I think every other song on
Goat is better. I didn't say it was a
bad song, for christsakes...
and Pew really is a better bassist. Just saying.

That's true. I voted for him. I never liked Sims that much.
BUT, I am going to PM you with the sendspace for 'Gong' shortly. You really should hear it.

Ok, I just checked most of the TBP songs that were mentioned here (some of which don´t even feature Pew), you people are insane. Monkey Trick, right? The fifth track on Goat?

If Monkey Trick isn't the worst track on Goat, then which one is?
It's hard for me to decide.

See, that's the beauty of 'Goat' - there IS no worst song. maybe you like certain songs better than others at different times, but it's comforting when you listen to it to think that all the songs are fantastic.

The only way that's possible is if every song is exactly identically great, with no song being better than any other in any way. Is that realistic, or are some songs probably even slightly better than others?

It's more like, when you're listening to the album you'll think one song is the worst, but it will immediately change upon another listen, or maybe even during the same spin. I can have one favorite, but the values of the songs are fluid.
Never mind, my love for goat is making me type funny words. back to Pew v. Sims.
