the neighbour has cancer. i am sympathetic about this. unfortunately she is also a detestable idiot (unrelated to her state of health).

headline in local paper -

NEIGHBOUR FROM HELL - MAN ABUSES CANCER SUFFERER

this may well happen coz i will not put up with her shit any more.

hence a large, electrified, sound-proof fence/box around her house would be cool.

This is pretty much the next thing on my to do list. I think I'd quite like it to be the country of a different country, too.

Fences are not crap. You can grow plants up them, which looks nice, and can provide delicious food. My house has a walled garden next to it, which, were it not walled and gated, would almost certainly be overrun daily by 13 year old gangstas looking for somewhere to get high.

What languages to you speak?

I really like rural spain. I found rural france to be kind of intimidating, but that's mostly because I had a rather unpleasant run-in with the police.

Interested in visiting the US? I can give you a hell of a tour of the South. It'll make "The Search for the Wrong-Eyed Jesus" look like a trip to Sunday School. Interested in guns?

Between my girlfriend and myself, we have some French, German, and Finnish. I want to put a scandinavian language under my belt sometime this year, with a view to perhaps heading north.

I've always liked rural France, but I haven't been there for a long time. My experience of it is basically remembered as a constant stream of delicious food and either blissful sun or torrential rain, which is good in my book.

We're definitely looking to come back to the states sometime soon. Again, I haven't been for a while, I think 2003 or 2004, so thanks, maybe I'll take you up on that! I'd say I have a moderate interest in guns. Well over half the meat we eat is game, but I've never shot anything more than a tin can with an air rifle so I'd like to give hunting for food a try at some time...

i got a fence, two, actually. front one is blue picket, back is regular 7ft or whatever is standard in suburbs. hate the front one, like the back one. i don't want to see my freaky 70 yr old neighbor with his new gf. they have "swingers" written all over them.

it's not my house so i've no say anyway.

if'n i had a house, i'd have to put a lot of thought into a fence.

in sum: not crap.
