this would be easy to do with my drumset students.

they'd get an unbelievable kick out of it & that alone merits a big not crap.

You sound like our lead singer .lol .
The Crumpfuttuks .

I love that a band called "The Crumpfuttuks" has a singer that sounds like that.

You might just have got me to change my mind with that video. I can see the value of it as a promotional tool along the lines of 'If you like this, check out my original material at www.insertwebaddresshere.com'.

It doesn't stop me getting annoyed at the other million or so 'Hey, look what I just learned to play' videos clogging up Youtube. Its too late to change my vote now anyway. And yes, :smt118

Like RT noted in his first post...
I've only recently realized how many of these kinds of posts there are on there. Usually they gum up the works while conducting a search, but some of them are meant to be 'instructional', as opposed to being just a 'performance'.
Of course, the quality varies and i don't check out most of them, but i'll admit that a video of some dude playing a rooftop bbq in Nashville for 20 people totally helped me figure out how to play one of my favorite Big Star songs.

Raise your hi-hat about two feet. If you do me this favor, I will forget about the other two-thousand things wrong with this video.

Hihat is higher now, but moreso, there is a nicer kit in place of the Sunlite.

That's a vid with the new kit... it's a Pearl EX export series. Not to say that my drumming is any better, but I also don't have much time to practice between work and my 6-month old son. Also, I was playing with two nearly broken sticks in that vid. :X

Edit: watching that vid again, I really should re-do that one. Lots of flubs...
