Although, if you post only one or two more times in the next 5 or 10 years, you might find yourself holding that title.

Nah, I was just making fun of my awesome lurking abilities.

Nobody's got any genuine need to post from them, except people who've had their real IP address banned.

Actually, there are some pretty good reasons to surf anonymously.

You realize there are millions of them, right?

Doesn't anybody have a list of known anonymizer addesses, maybe even straight up blocks of IP adresses, that are ready for import into a php setting? I woulda thought so, but haven't looked into it. I guess if you just banned them one at a time, as they were used, that would take like, millions of seconds. That's only what, like tens of hours of nonstop banning? psssh!!

Hrm. such as? not arguing, just curious. I've only ever known one person who needed one, and it was the troll at a forum I used to post at.

I was going for the longest membership with the least amount of posts ratio (still active category) record.

I mean 51 posts in 733 days. Thats got to count for something right? Someone has to offset Marsup and That Damned Fly.

Right?
so, i guess you never looked at the memberlist? lot's of nonposters. lots.

also, steve, feel free to ban my other three acounts, that'll keep me from skewing crap/not craps that aren't going the way i'd like them to.

Really. New ones are popping up every day. It'd e a full-time job to keep track of even the most popular ones.

However, one could probably write a script to periodically check a list of well-known proxy websites, grab the IP addresses behind all the links, and put those on the "ban list"...

Should I have one? Do all the cool kids have one?

Why am I so clueless about these things?

It's an account you start with a fake on-line persona, or just for one absolutely hilarious post.

Like, when you say "I'm living on the edge now days" it sounds stupid. But when you would post that as Bono, that would be absolutely hifuckinglarious.
Or not.

Good to know StabbyCat stays. I wouldn't like to see him when he is really angry.
