Man, I miss that head sometimes.

I did the same with two fawn JMP half stacks, in around 1991 or so.

I cry sometimes thinking about how much I sold those amps for. Ok, I dont cry, but only because I have no feelings at all.

I sold a Silverface Deluxe Reverb for $75 at a Volkswagen swap meet in 1995. The guy talked me down from $100.
What was I thinking? I'm not a heroin addict... I was just young and inexperienced.

The Karma was returned when I scored a Brownface Princeton for $30 at a different swap meet a few years later.

I bought a 50 watt silverface bassman in perfect shape for $200 about 9 years ago, needed the money a few months later and sold it for about what I paid into it with shipping and all. I kept an Ampeg VL-50something though, for a few years around that time. I was really into Hum and I thought I'd need the high gain amp to rip them off better. Man was I kicking myself once I finally realized that the Ampeg I had sounded like bees farting on cardboard, and I could have just gotten a good distortion pedal for the bassman. Since then I don't really have any big regrets with gear purchases/sales.

-Sunburst 66' Jazz Bass (cost me $2500 at the time) and I traded it for a new Gibson Thunderbird (1996)

- Sunburst 73' P-Bass (w/ added bridge position Jazz pickup) sold for $400 to pay rent (1996)

-mint early-seventies V4-b and 8x10 sold for $800 to pay rent (1997)

-My first of two Maple-Glo Univox 4001's pawned for $150 so I could afford gas and food for a couple of days. (2004). Never found the money to go in and get it back.

-returned a mint Japanese-made 75' reissue Jazz Bass that I was renting and I've never been able to find another. Best bass I've ever played. They wanted only $600 for it. (2005)
