Jesus Christ. This explains a lot about my nightmares from ages 12-16.

Shite on a stick, that is a really ugly home page. I would not pay them to build me a website, unless I wanted all my pages to end in .cack rather than .html.

That company's site looks like it was designed by autistic, farsighted apes.

Well, when I worked at Whole Foods, my friend and I were getting as wasted as we could every day before work like it was some kind of competition.
Anyways, we end up trying to get extremely "I can't walk. At all" drunk during our lunch by my car in the parking lot while blaring "At Action Park" from start to finish . We pretty much achieved our goal, but apparently we (my fellow and I) collectively thought we weren't drunk enough.
So we went to the back hallway (where the store manager's office is) to take some pumpkin ale that was stacked in the halls because a bunch of enviromentalist's that drive lifted trucks wanted it for their mediocre halloween parties.
We were trying to drink as many as we could in the bathroom until our manager came in and tried to "reason it out".
He asked if we were drunk.
What a fucking idiot.
Fuck WholeFoods. That place sucked the bag.

My Employment History:
Nuts on Clark
Maybe I'm forgetting a couple.
Nuts on Clark was the nastiest firing, after a day of condescending quips from the sadistic cunt owner. I think I threw a bag of cashews at her on my way out.
I've heard horror stories about the owner and managers at Nuts On Clark. A friend of mine worked there for maybe two months ten years ago, and he is still pissed about it.

Never been canned luckily, usually just leave abruptly. I've been fortunate enough to be hired at new jobs that don't check my references so all good there. Lying seriously gets you jobs.
Last week I did get told after my interview at Red Lobster by the manager that "although I won't be a success there, it doesn't mean I won't succeed somewhere else." She couldn't even look me in the eye and not to mention it was definitely memorized. I'll stick to the sweaty kitchen at the irish pub.

Working for local chain of camera/55-minute photo shops--I was working for our custom lab at the time and I kicked a cabinet door so hard I lost half my big toenail, right in front of my supervisor. I was told to go home that day, but I wasn't fired until a week later when the HR guy at corporate called me in and sat me down in front of pictures of other stuff I'd busted up the previous couple years (I was also demoted to the custom lab from being supervisor at a one-hour lab after I had a shouting match with a salesperson on the floor in front of customers and stormed out.)
Yeah,
sometimes I got a bad temper.

I was let go from my statistical analysis/consumer survey gig (the second worst job in my life) because of something I did whilst on vacation from that job.
I had been working there for six months, and asked if I was entitled to any vacation time. I was told that since I was an hourly worker, I could take time off but would not get paid for it. Fine, I said.
Shortly after New Year's, I took off a week from the job so I could go to the Bahamas and shoot a poker tournament.
About a week after my return to the job, I got called into the owner's office, where he explained to me that even though I was a good worker, for financial reasons he had to let me go, and he was really sorry about that.
I knew this was bullshit (he was really protecting another co-worker of mine who never showed up an did shitty work, but also happened to have HIV and would probably sue if he got canned) so I said to him "If you knew you were going to let me go, why did you tell me it was OK to take a vacation?"
He made the mistake of answering my question. "Actually, until you took your vacation time, I didn't even think of this."
It turns out that he found out I had taken a "working" vacation, and felt it was a threat to my attendance there, and decided to cut me loose rather than allow me to moonlight somewhere else (on my own time, I might add.)
Even though this was all kinds of wrong, I said "Whatever, you're the boss."
He told me I could finish out the day (it was noon) but I just went to my desk, took the five things that I cared about, and left the rest for the scavengers to take.
