All in all it was a fairly quiet birthday since my mother is still pretty weak and frail. We had a cookout. There was cake. My daughter was funny and cute. Would have loved to have had some folks over but it would have been too much, probably. Thanks for all the birthday wishes. I can't wait to see some of you folks.

Thanks, guys. I had a proper post-birthday celebration playing with Five-Eight at the News World Brewery in Tampa. GREAT show, great crowd. Ate at La Teresita before the show and again this morning. Slept in a bed in a ice cold hotel room last night. I feel like a new man. Guitar player in this first band had a Traynor but responded to the question Are you PRF? with a blank stare. They were great. They were called Permanent Makeup. Also on the bill was Dear and Glorious Physician. Burn band would fit tight in at a PRF event.
